Un nombre croissant d’enfants est aujourd’hui en danger en Israël. Ils doivent être protégés et nourris. Vivant en dessous du seuil de pauvreté, ils sont constamment mis au défi de lutter pour essayer de vivre le mieux possible, ils sont parfois abusés et très souvent en échec.
Le programme d’Afikim offre un nouvel espoir aux enfants défavorisés. Il représente le seul moyen pour permettre aux enfants et à leurs parents de sortir du cercle de la pauvreté.
Afikim’s unique projects include a comprehensive and holistic approach that helps not only the child, but his family as well.
RUN4AFIKIM is a fundraising running event organized by Afikim every year. Dozens of athletes from Israel and around the world participate in a three-day relay race from Jerusalem to Eilat.
Every athlete gets sponsored in order to participate in the race and all donations are used to further Afikim’s programs: learning centers, afternoon club and other activities throughout Israel.
