Kobi Langlev, CEO the Israel Building Center Group, hosted a special Summer on the Roof evening at the Afikim offices located in Jerusalem.
The event was attended by Yaakov Siso, entrepreneur and banker, Dafna Hochman, deputy CEO of Elad Residence Ltd., Guy Kosovski, CEO of She’av Rav Group, Dana Levy, marketing media personality and public relations advisor, Danny Yogev, owner of a construction supervision company, Sarah Ben Yitzhak, senior psychologist, David Kadosh, branding expert and art director, owner of the 2 Designers Studio, Yuval Atad, CEO of WinWin of the Yediot Group, Shaul Salem, CEO of the Adira portal of the Yellow Page Group, Rinat Ashkenazi, CEO of Tnuva Chef, and others. The evening was organized by Moshe Shemesh, strategist and marketing specialist, and an Afikim volunteer.
Artistic Components
The artistic section of the evening included the Afikim children’s choir, conducted by Dina Muchnik, a music teacher at Afikim Jerusalem, in a medley of songs about Jerusalem and Shavuot, singer Yehuda Katz, in a selection of Carlebach hits, and the viewing of a new movie on Afikim, produced by a French television channel.
Kobi Langlev, the evening’s host, announced that “we, at the building center, believe in the importance of providing assistance to Afikim. We are taking part in the construction of future generations. This get-together of friends is in order to share our commitment to the children of Afikim. I have learned much about how one organization using a unique model can make significant in the lives of so many. The connection that the parents have with Afikim is amazing; the parent-school project is unique and exciting and I am happy to contribute from my experience to this vital project.”
